This small booklet, Understanding Aikido (1991), provided the basis upon which the much larger print book entitled Understanding Aikido: Essential Information and Perceptions (2013) was developed. The booklet was published in 1991 by the Zantotsu Ryu and is composed of a cardstock cover and 8 pages with a saddlestiched binding. It discusses whether or not Aikido should be identified as a martial art. This booklet is still available, signed by the author, but only a very few copies remain in stock: $3.49 + shipping.
